Quality Protocols

How a carton gets from raw fibre to a sealed, traceable pallet. This page describes the controls that apply to every feminine-care order; the written protocol version applicable to your order is available during due diligence.

1. Incoming materials

Hemp and cotton fibre, SAP, tissue, breathable backsheet film, adhesive and release paper are received against a specification. Each lot is checked for certificate of analysis, appearance, weight and, where relevant, absorbency and pH, before it enters the production area. A lot that does not match its certificate is quarantined, not substituted.

2. In-process control

3. Finished goods and release

Sampled packs from each batch are tested against the specification before release. A batch Certificate of Analysis is issued with the shipment, and a retained sample from every batch is kept so that any claim can be checked against the actual goods rather than an argument.

4. Hygiene controls

Production runs in a controlled cleanliness environment with defined gowning, entry control and cleaning schedules, and the lines are fully servo-driven so that the product is not handled by hand between layers. Microbiological results are included in the third-party test reports supplied with the technical file.

5. Traceability

Every carton carries a batch code that links back to the raw-material lots used, the line, the shift and the inspection records for that run. That is what makes a recall possible in hours rather than weeks — and what lets us answer a buyer's question about a specific carton without guesswork.

6. Non-conformity and corrective action

A non-conformity is logged, the affected batch is held, and the cause is investigated before release. Where a customer reports a problem, we open a corrective-action record, verify the fix on the next run and share the outcome with the customer. Recurrence is treated as a process failure, not a shipping accident.

7. Change control

A change in material source, construction, supplier or production site is not made silently. It is confirmed with the customer in writing and, where the market requires it, reflected in the regulatory file before goods ship.

8. Audits and documentation

You or your appointed third party may audit the production site; we arrange the visit and the documentation with you. The standard document pack includes third-party test reports with report numbers and methods, batch Certificates of Analysis, material declarations, and free-sale documentation for customs.
